Safety Certifications:

IUCRC: Indiana Union Construction Resources Center, Inc. provides Drug Testing, Substance Abuse and Employee Assistance Programs.

Our Jobsite and workplace safety program has been developed to address the issues associated with our facility, equipment, and product applications, as well as Field Jobsite assessment and procedures. Using resources provided by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and The Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors' Association, as well as others, we provide comprehensive orientation and continuing training to all employees.

As part of the orientation process, each new employee must successfully complete training on all equipment in the Tarpenning-LaFollette Manufacturing Facility, as well as instruction on Personal Protective Equipment, Respiratory Protection, Hearing Conservation, Welding and Flame Cutting Safety, Fire Extinguisher use, Asbestos Awareness, and Powered Industrial Truck Safety.

In addition, every Journeyman has received training on Scaffolding and Fall Protection, and proper use of Ladders, Hoists and Cranes. All Journeymen have completed the ten hour OSHA Construction Safety and Health course, as well as training in First Aid and CPR.
